Before leading Habana Creative Studio, our CEO Mike Coronel co-founded Lenel Media Publication. Our flagship project was the Vietnam Pocket Guide—a game-changing media platform that defined tourism marketing in Central Vietnam for years.
The Story
Mike Coronel (Creative Director) and Ann Le (General Manager) launched the first-ever dedicated tourist book for Da Nang. Based in our Da Nang office with a talented medium-sized team, we grew the guide into a local icon. It was highly rated by both travelers and business owners for its quality and effectiveness.
The Legacy
The Vietnam Pocket Guide was a success story that ran for years. We chose to close the publication in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic paused the global travel industry.
Today, we bring that same level of strategic thinking, high-end design, and local expertise to every project we take on at Habana Creative Studio. We don't just create pretty designs; we build businesses that work.

Multi-Language Reach
We published in English, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese to cover 100% of the major tourist markets.
Print Meets Digital
We created a Smart Map system that used book codes for online discounts, letting us track results and show advertisers the customers we sent.
Government Endorsed
The guide was officially recognized by the Department of Tourism and served as the official media partner for the Asian Beach Games.
Massive Distribution
10,000 copies per issue were hand-delivered to airports, luxury resorts (like the Hyatt), museums, and the city’s top restaurants.
Distribution Network
Vietnam Pocket Guide is the only pocket guide in Da Nang in four languages, using a map code and discount system that lets readers access deals online while allowing us to track data. It is distributed through the Tourism Center, resorts, museums, restaurants, the airport arrival counter, tourist spots, hotels, and top spas across the city.
